Easter Party 2009

We held our annual Easter Party on Sat. April 11th.... The kids made some cute Easter Masks!
The two monsters above are Hunter and Curtis, with their Easter Masks!

Grandpa Webster & Curtis teamed up for the Easter Scavenger Hunt!

Stefanie and her Bailee Bug looking for eggs in the Scavenger Hunt!

Jake didn't really care too much about the eggs, but he loved riding on the lawn tractor!

Eliza took her mommy and daddy with her to look for eggs!

Kenadee and Rich having fun looking for eggs!

Grandpa Dave told the kids an Easter Story about Jesus and his last week! The grandkids really listen in primary because they knew all the answers!

David had a captive audience for his Easter Story!

The kids really enjoyed Grandpa's story time!

Then it was on to a delicious Easter meal!

The kids love sitting at the kid's tables!

With the weather not cooperating, I had to sit 27 inside! It was tight but it worked!

After the yummy dinner, we had the big Easter Egg hunt....I gave all the mommy's and daddy's a bag of eggs to go and hide while the kids waited in the upstairs family room. I have alot of eggs, and this year I added 4 extra big eggs to go along with the 2 golden eggs!
After the egg hunt, the kids love opening up the eggs and seeing the special stuff inside. I don't put alot of candy, but I try to find little toys and things for the kids!
Sage found one of the golden eggs and when they counted the money it was over $6.....obviously Grandma does not know how much she stuffs in those eggs!

Our little Easter Bunny Jade!

David's Surprise Birthday Party!

On Thursday April 2, David celebrated his 53rd Birthday! I kinda tricked him with a surprise party! I told him that our family was all meeting at La Choi's in Clearfield at 5:30pm and then they were all coming back to our house for cake and ice cream afterwards. We had a great dinner, with our favorite waitress, my niece Melissa! When we got back to our house we had cake and ice cream! David started to wonder what was going on when friends and family started arriving to wish him a happy birthday!
The grandkids helping Grandpa blow out his candles!
We have so many great friends from Farmington and Syracuse!

And our family is the greatest! I knew that David hates all the attention, but I knew that he loves visiting with people! I decided that after the last heart attack, we needed to celebrate every year that we get to spend with him!

It was a great night of family and friends!
