Moab Fun!

We were able to head down to Moab for a quick trip over the weekend. Leon & Janet (David's brother) went down with us....we did some trails that we have never done before and we were able to see some more beautiful country! On Friday, Mar. 20th we found a very awesome canyon...which I can't remember the name of just now...senior moment!
It was a narrow winding road down into a beautiful canyon!

You can see below, how narrow the road was! That black speck is Leon's jeep!

On Sat. Mar. 21st, we tried a new trail that skirted the boundaries of Arches National Park! It was really beautiful country and we eventually ended up in the park, and then came out through Arches!

The trail wasn't always marked very well....here is David and Leon trying to find where we were on a map...half the fun of finding new trails is getting lost!

We tried a new trail called "Heh Joe Canyon" .....it pretty much just followed the Green River, down through the Tamarack trees, which means lots of new scratches on the jeeps....it ended up at an old Uranium mine, that had lots of old mining equipment scattered around!

Spring Fun

Eliza got to spend the night with Grandma & Grandpa Webster while her parents went away for their anniversary.... Eliza loves Maggie...Don't tell her mom that she likes to give Maggie kisses on the mouth!
She helped us put up the trampoline for the new season!

And Eliza and Grandpa went for alittle horse ride...this was the first time Eliza has ridden the horse all my herself (with Grandpa leading of course!)

On Sunday, March 15th, I had the March Birthday dinner....and with the great Spring weather, the kids broke in the sand box....8 kids in one little sandbox!

I loved how little Jake (down front) was waving for the picture!
Sage and Jade came on Sat. before the party and helped me make the cheesecakes!
Jade loved licking the beaters!
