24th of July Camping to Schofield

For the 24th of July we went camping up out of Schofield Reservoir. Amy & Jon (with a new truck engine) Michelle and Ricky, David and I, and all the kids had a great time enjoying the beautiful mountains (& the cooler temperatures!) This is a picture of our camp area.....nestled in the quakies! The kids, with Jon's help...built a castle/fort out of all the dead trees they could find and carry!
The Wight's had their new 4 wheeler, this is Amy with Sage & Kenadee riding side by side.
What is a camping trip without Jade eating dirt!
The two little ones playing with Buster. (Proof that one of Michelle's kids likes animals)
David, Jon and Ricky trying to decide what to do with the dead 4 wheeler!
The girls...Bailee, Sage and Kenadee, went all over bone collecting!

We had our own baseball game....

A lonely old building in the middle of nowhere-but look at that beautiful sky!

I love the expressions on all their faces in the baseball picture below!
Hunter playing catcher with his eyes shut-good thing it's a plastic ball!

What a great trip! We just need to convince Jason & Erin and Stefanie & Rich to come along!

July 24th & July Birthday's Celebration!

Sunday, July 20th we held our annual 24th of July Party and also celebrated all the July birthdays. We had a great bar-b-que of hamburgers and hotdogs and all the fixin's! The neighbors next door have 10 cute little puppies and all of the kids and Stefanie were having fun trying to get them to come over to the fence!
The neighbor came out and handed a couple of the puppies over the fence for the kids to take turns holding! They all loved the puppies!
Our July birthdays are Corey (2), Wynn, Curtis (4), Stefanie (23) and Grandpa Teeples who is no longer with us, but remembered in spirit!
Jason, Erin and Eliza watching the fireworks!
The kids were having fun in their PJ's, dancing to Camp Rock...
Great Grandma Teeples can really rock!!
Our fireworks display!
Amy and Stefanie being silly!
The birthday boy Curtis and Hunter enjoying the fireworks fun!

4th of July in the Uinta's

We had a great camping trip to the Uinta's over the 4th of July weekend. We took Grandma Teeples with us, and then Michelle & Ricky and the kids, and Leon & Janet came as well. Amy & Jon were headed up, but their truck blew an engine in Morgan and so they could only meet us for the Rodeo in Oakley! It was so much cooler in the mountains, we went jeeping (of course) and had great picnics in the wildflowers!
Grandma Teeples loves the camp fire and roasting marshmellows!
You can see how beautiful and green it is up in the mountains right now!

This pond was just below our camping spot. The kids loved watching Grandpa's jeep go through the water!

Amy & Jon and their kids at the Oakley Rodeo! Ricky has more pictures of the rodeo on their blog.

Camping with Bangerter's & Friends

We decided on a quick camping trip with Michelle and Ricky and their friends, to the Soapstone Basin, up in the Uinta's last weekend. It was kinda last minute, but it was a great place to be out of the heat, jeeping, and having fun! Jade (17 months) enjoys riding in Grandpa's jeep!
Having fun in the snow!
Lunch in Grandpa's new trailer! Hunter is 4 and Sage is 6!
Ricky getting some of his great photo shots!
This picture is alittle dark...but if you look closely, you can see all the kids hands raised, ready to go down the Ranger roller coaster!

Tending the Grandkids!

I tended Amy & Jon's four kids for a couple of days last week! Here are just some of the fun things they did at Grandma's house! Kenadee Wight or Snow White waiting for Prince Charming!
Jake's version of a mobile phone!
We spent hours spinning jacks!
Bailee-7 and Kenadee 5-1/2 up in the tree!
Jumping on the trampoline with the sprinklers!
Coloring on the patio!
Playing with Grandma's toys!
Monkey Curtis (almost 4) climbing in the trees!
Jake (15 months) doing some serious chalk drawing!
